What happens after my merchant account application has been approved?

PSiGate will send you a Welcome Email package that includes everything you need to get you up and running. You will also be contacted by Technical Support to ensure a smooth integration and to answer any questions you may have.

Can I view Funding Reports and Invoices online for my merchant account?

Yes. All available transaction information is provided in real-time, 24-7, through the PSiGate Reporting and Billing portals.

Can I view the results of transactions processed from my website in real time?

Yes. The PSiGate Reporting portal provides real-time transaction information, 24-7.

I already have a Gateway provider; can I still use it for merchant accounts set-up with PSiGate?

PSiGate offers a bundled pricing solution that includes our Gateway and Merchant Accounts, is integrated into the most popular shopping cart solutions, and our simple API allows it to be integrated into almost any environment. We will work with you to develop the right solution for your business.

How can I reset my Password?

Please contact Merchant Services to reset your password. Call 1-877-374-9444, Option 1 or email merchant.services@psigate.com.

Can I process transactions other than CAD/USD currency?

Any credit card can be presented for a transaction, however the cardholder will be billed in the currency that the card is issued. If your shopping cart supports multi-currency or dynamic currency conversion, then your shopping cart can reflect multiple currencies. All processing through your merchant account (base currency) will be in Canadian or U.S. dollars.

How long does the credit card authorization process take?

Whether the transaction is approved or declined it usually takes several seconds from the time the consumer clicks the 'purchase' button to the time the consumer and the merchant receive authorization.

How are refunds credited to customers?

Refunds are processed either through the integrated API or via the PSiGate transaction reporting tool.
